In response to numerous national and local events calling for more to be done in the fight for racial justice NC State University looked at ways to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration in building a diverse, inclusive and equitable community. Leaning in to this opportunity, Ms. Sheri Schwab, Vice Provost for Institutional Equity and Diversity at NCSU, presented several new initiatives including holding a Racial Equity Summit. She shared this information in the Cooler Chat on December 8th. Giving participants an overview of the the Summit and the outcome.
